Kevin Flynn
General Manager
Kevin Flynn has more than ten years in the recycling industry, including sales, marketing and operational experience. Having worked with both large, public firms and smaller, family-owned companies, he has knowledge working within all dimensions of the industry.
After facilitating and managing the launch of Complete Recycling in 2008, Kevin Flynn currently serves as General Manager, overseeing day-to-day business operations.
Prior to Complete Recycling, Flynn served as a Buyer and Account Manager for Commercial Metals, a publicly traded company in Houston, TX. He also served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a private, family-owned business in St. Louis, MO.
A St. Louis area native, Flynn earned a B.A. from the University of Kentucky in 2002.
Steve Lyons
Business Development Manager
Steve Lyons is a waste diversion expert with over a decade of experience in the commercial recycling industry. He specializes in commercial recycling, including equipment account management, consultation and installation relative to the material handling of recyclables, as with compactors and balers. Lyons has extensive background in the reduction of waste streams to reduce disposal costs.
As Business Development Manager for Complete Recycling, Steve Lyons is tasked with strengthening relationships with existing clients utilizing the firm’s customized recycling programs, as well as creating new business opportunities in Southern California and nationally.
Previously, Lyons served as a Major Account Representative for Republic Services, the second largest waste services company in the country. While there, he was responsible for the all-inclusive management of commercial recycling accounts, including material evaluation, operational logistics, material documentation and revenue reconciliation.
Lyons attended The Colorado College in Colorado Springs where he received a B.A. in Liberal Arts.
Mike Planck
Director of Operations
As Director of Operations for Complete Recycling, Mike Planck services clients nationwide, working with each to design and manage a recycling program to fit their needs.
Prior to joining Complete Recycling, Planck served as Director of Sales and Brokerage for Republic Services, Inc. where he managed the sales team and launched recycling programs for various business. He was responsible for the marketing of recyclable materials for locations in both Orange County and Riverside. Planck also served as General Manager for CR&R Waste and Recycling Services, managing operations of their material recovery facility in Stanton, CA.
Planck attended the Maroon Military Institute in Alabama, where he received an Associates degree in Business. While there, he served as Commander of the White Knights Drill Team and was a member of the Morgan’s Raiders, an honor military society.
In 1992, Planck earned a Bachelors degree in Corporate Finance and Investment Management from the University of Alabama, where he ranked as 2nd Lieutenant for the Alabama Army National Guard.
